Catching up

Hello! Hi. Anyeo (that’s Korean for hi) 🙂

How’s it going? So its been a really long time since I’ve posted here, and I thought I’d do a catch up post. It feels like I haven’t posted anything in ages and ages. All right, I have posted little things, but no book reviews or anything major.

As you might know, I was in a Creative Book Publishing Program for the past 4 months, which just ended on Friday. Ramadan also started in the midst of my final month, so that’s also been keeping me busy.

This is the first September that I’m not going to school, so I’m a bit sad about that. Ok, scratch ‘a bit’ and make it into ‘very’ sad. So you might hear me whining about it here and just being generally nostalgic about university.

But I need the break. Or so I keep telling myself.

But in terms of this blog/website, I’ll be returning to blogging about books soon. Actually, look out for my review on Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour right after this post. I will also be doing more Muslim Fashionistas posts, which I promised to do ages ago. Don’t think I forgot (because I didn’t)! Now that I have more time, I’m really excited about doing them.

Also, I posted a picture of a creamy chicken pasta bake I made on my facebook wall a few days ago, which everyone loved and I promised to post the recipe here, so here it is: http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipes/creamy-chicken-pasta-bake-112865.aspx

Its not my own recipe; I got it from Kraft. But I did make my own variations to it, such as: the recipe calls for half a cup of chicken broth, but I added 1 cup, so that there was more sauce. Oh and I added more cheese, just because I love cheese.

So I think that’s everything; now I’m off to write my book review.

‘Till next time,

Ikhlas

Thanks for reading, Chelse! hahahah, after spending 4 months together, I’d say we’ve all become connected!

Can’t wait to talk books all the time, without feeling guilty that we should be doing work hehehe ^_^

Mmm looks yummy! And I love that you started your post with Anyeo! One of my best friends is Korean so she’s always teaching me little words like that 🙂

Omg really? That’s so cool! I’m a bit obsessed with Korean culture and have been watching Korean dramas for a few years now so I’ve sort of taught myself how to speak it ^_^ hehehe
