Waiting on Wednesday {2}

Posted on 6 July, 201118 July, 2011 by Ikhlas

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Silence (Hush, Hush, #3)This week’s anticipated title: Silence

Author: Becca Fitzpatrick

Release Date: October 4th, 2011

Summary: The noise between Patch and Nora is gone. They’ve overcome the secrets riddled in Patch’s dark past…bridged two irreconcilable worlds…faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty and trust…and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in one another, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they’ve worked for—and their love—forever. From Goodreads.

This is the third in the Hush, Hush series, of which the sequel was Crescendo.

After falling in love with Hush, Hush, I’m excited to see where Fitzpatrick is going to take the story next with Patch and Nora. The description doesn’t sound that specific or interesting, but I’m excited nonetheless because of the way Crescendo ended. A little more was unveiled about Nora’s father, which is definitely going to come back in this one (I hope).

I didn’t find the romance between Nora and Patch as exciting in Crescendo as in Hush, Hush, mainly because I felt their relationship had to fulfil the requisite bumpy part and I was eager for that to pass. But I’m hoping that things heat up between them, because I love the way Fitzpatrick writes…she has me at the edge of my seat every time.
